I was watching the Japanese cartoon "Tombstone For Fireflies" the other day. Ate Cecile, who lent me her dvd, said that the movie might make me cry. It did. It got me teary-eyed.
I kinda have my own feared air raid these days. I think everyone has his/her version of air raid in his/her life. One day you're fine, the next moment you're frantically scurrying for the nearest shelter after heeding an air raid warning. Anyone can imagine how depressing it is to feel there's no way out of this. Anyone could be so tempted as to wallow in these dark times and just wish they weren't alive. But in the movie, there in the deepest of the darkest tombs one can find light that comes from fireflies.
Tinatamad na akong tapusin. Basta iyon, nagpapasalamat lang ako sa liwanag ng Diyos. Thank you Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yey! totoro! peyborit ko yun!! actually lahat yata ng studio ghibli nagustuhan ko. unang kong na panuod Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind mga gradeschool days. tapos when i watched it again when i was older...na pa wow pa rin ako!! napanuod mo na ba yung iba nya like sprited away, kiki's delivery service, howl's moving castle, ponyo, princess mononoke, at the cat returns. :) so far wala pa ko napanuod na di ako binalik sa pagkabata. :) yung grave of the fire flies malungkot nga daw. di ko pa napapanuod yun. di naman nakakadepress?
i want to buy the dvds sa china ng studio ghibli but i'm scared na walang subtitles eh!
